I know I've been quite absent these past several months playing the "grandma" role, but I'm still 'OPEN FOR BUSINESS"!
Now, before I go on, I just have to share these cute little pictures of my adorable little grandson, who will be turning 7 months on this Sunday. Can you believe, his "mommy" and "daddy" had already taken him, for his first haircut?!? Here's are "before", "during" and "after" pictures.
I THINK HE LIKES IT!
I know I'm "just a little bias", but isn't he the cutest thing ever?!? I sure do think so! Well, I may still be a little on the "absent" side here from time to time for the next couple weeks or so, but please bare with me! I promise, I will be back sometime with more samples and fun ideas. In the mean time, I'm sure you'll understand, as I take this time to enjoy more of my darling grandson. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
So, you may be thinking the the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies (135851) that is just one of the great deals this week, may only be used during the holidays. Here's a fun Spring looking card. In this case I made it as a card to "Welcome Baby". Yes, think outside of the box!
And, don't forget the Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set (135047) that coordinates with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies, is still available and can be found in the Occasions Catalog.
It looks like most of this weeks deals has a lot to do with packaging.
Do you see the first item over in the top left corner? It's the A Little Sumthin' Sumthin' Simply Created Gift Box (133794). It doesn't look very impressive in the photo of the poster, but I love this kit! It's perfect for holding gift cards or you can fill it up with snack sized candies. You get all the pieces in a kit to create 10 of these cool pillow boxes along with the great accessories to dress it up.
The "You can never have too much happy" stamp I chose to use to add to the little word bubble is from the Yippie-Skippee Stamp Set (w - 131341 c - 131344), which I stamped using the Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad (126970).
Don't forget that Sale-A-Bration will be over after the end of the THIS month, so you'll want to be sure to get in on the great offers before it's too late. In case you've been wondering where I've been lately, well... LIFE does get in the way sometimes. Well, in this case, "LIFE" didn't just get in the way, but "LIFE" actually, literally happened! That's right! The LIFE of my very first grandchild. My daughter gave birth to my beautiful little grandson on January 9th and I have been in heaven ever since. Isn't he beautiful?
Here he is when he was just a few days old. He ended up back in the hospital after we had already taken him home because of a high bilirubin. But, other than that, he is one healthy little baby boy! Thank God for that!
He's already gotten bigger even after just a few weeks. Here's a more recent picture of little baby Brody.
In the next few weeks I'll work on getting back on track, but I have to admit. We don't live local to each other. They're in Vegas while we're in Orange County, CA, about a 4 hour drive (less than 1 hour flight) away from one other. I miss him so much when I'm home, so I do plan on paying lots of visits.
For now, I would like to remind all of you about Sale-A-Bration. Click on the brochure below to view the great benefits of Sale-A-Bration and all that it has to offer.
So, I have to say, that I am pre-writing this post since I'm going to be out-of-town when Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration goes live, TODAY - Tuesday, January 6th. So, unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to link either of the catalogs just yet, but I will be sure to do that when I get back later on this week.
For now though, I want to show you this cute little treat bag. Don't you just love it? It's made using the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (137547) found in the Occasions Catalog.
And, check out that paper bow! That was created with the new Bow Builder Punch (137414), also found in the Occasions Catalog. Isn't it the cutest thing ever?!?
The Designer Series Paper used is from just one of the FREE packs found in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure this year. And, the buttons (I hid the holes with our flat pearls found in the Pearl Basic Jewels package) come from yet another FREEBIE offering. It's a pack of 3 different color buttons that come in a package along with matching color ribbon as well. I am tellin' ya - Sale-A-Bration (SAB) this year is AWESOME!
BTW, this is going to be just one of the projects we'll be making at my next local Stamp Class scheduled for this Sunday, January 11th.
