FOUNDER'S CIRCLE SWAP CARDS

One of the fun things Stampin' Up! demonstrators look forward to when attending various Stampin' Up! events is doing card swaps.  Make a bunch (in this case 120) of cards of the same design and end up with the same amount back, only of all different designs made by that many other demonstrators!  Sooooo much fun!

At our Founder's Circle "Pajama Party", that's what we did!  Imagine a bunch of stamped crazed women in pajamas lining up along the lobby and hallways of the Marriott Courtyard in St. George, UT.

We were challenged to do just two layers.  Being the competitor that I am sometimes, I challenged myself to come up with a card that had just one layer.  Here's what I came up with...

...and to answer your question.  Yes, it did take me forever to do 120 of them.  Ha! Ha!  But, boy was it worth it!

WEDDING AT THE WESTIN RESORT AT LAKE LAS VEGAS

It's "My Digital Tuesday" and a perfect time for me to share a couple pages I made from my daughter's "BFF"'s wedding this past Saturday, held at the Westin Resort at Lake Las Vegas.

My daughter, Arlyn and Melissa (the bride) have been "best friends" since they were 5 years old!  So, it was very fitting the Arlyn was Melissa's Made of Honor.  John and Melissa have been "boyfriend and girlfriend" since they were 14 years old, so it was very fitting that John was Melissa's Groom!  Ha! Ha!   That's right, John and Melissa have been together for 16 years before FINALLY tying the knot!  A common theme we kept hearing throughout the wedding was, "It's about time!"  Congratulations to them both.  I guess you can say that they are bound to have a LONG and HAPPY LIFE TOGETHER as now, finally, "man and wife".

STAMPIN' UP! FOUNDER'S CIRCLE

I'm back!  And, if you've been following me, you may have figured out by now, I wasn't able to post while I was away at our Founder's Circle Retreat in St. George, UT this past week.  I brought my daughter's laptop with me, but being the "non-computer savy person" that I am, I wasn't able to figure out how to post pictures from it.  So, I decided to just wait until I got back.

So, I'm back and it's back to reality!  We had an AMAZING experience. Stampin' Up! always goes all out when it comes to pampering their demonstrators.

What an HONOR to be amongst THE BEST OF THE BEST Stampin' Up!  has to offer.  I continue to be blessed by making lots of new and wonderful friends. 

I especially want to take the time to give a BIG THANK YOU to Shelli Gardner (co-founder & CEO of Stampin' Up!) and all the event staff of both Stampin' Up!, as well as the staff at the Marriot Courtyard in St. George, UT.  Everything you did for us and your attention to detail for this event definitely did not go unnoticed.  We owe a great deal of GRATITUDE to you all!

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to reunite with friends I hadn't seen since high school.  I guess you can say I'm the "oldie" of the group, since I am the "older" one of all of them and graduated with the class before theirs.

WE FINALLY HAVE A WINNER!

The third time was the charm.  Tricia Davis was the third name drawn for the free Basic Pearls and she did claim her prize last Friday.  Thanks to all of you who played along.  We'll have to do it again sometime.
